Ulf Krokfors has belonged to the top musicians in the field of jazz and improvised music in Finland since 1988. Though his heart beats mainly for improvised music he has worked with a number of musicians and composers from different fields of music. With his wife, the renowned composer Iro Haarla, he has performed and recorded for over 20 years. Another major partner in music has been legendary saxophonist and flutist Juhani Aaltonen. 

He mostly enjoys being a part of projects and bands. Working together to create something new is his passion.
